Niva works alongside your NHS care, not instead of it. You stay registered exactly where you are and use us whenever you want faster access, a longer appointment or a second opinion.
We generally offer same-day appointments for most patients. If online booking shows no availability, contact us and we will try to accommodate you.
Standard GP consultations are 20 minutes. For complex issues, a 30-minute appointment is recommended.
Yes, we provide telephone and video GP appointments for your convenience. We offer face-to-face appointments at our Stanmore clinic, with nationwide coverage for remote consultations.
You can book online using the ‘Book Online’ button, call or email us, or book at our reception desk.
Yes. NHS referrals can be processed with your consent. Private referrals can also be arranged during your appointment.
No, referrals and private prescriptions are included. Prescription dispensing fees at pharmacies may apply.
To confirm whether your insurance covers your appointment, please check with your provider before you book. Some insurers have an annual cash allowance for private GP appointments that can be reimbursed, and the majority of international medical policies cover our services.
We offer in-house blood testing. For other tests, such as imaging, we refer you to trusted private providers locally.
We strive to provide same-day appointments, or within 24 to 48 hours. Contact us if it is urgent and we will do our best to accommodate you.
You can reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. If you need to cancel, please let us know at least 24 hours before so we can offer the slot to another patient. Cancellations with less than 4 hours’ notice are charged 100% of the appointment fee.
